POSITION:
Part Time Dispatcher
GENERAL DUTIES:
Receives calls from the public for assistance and dispatches and coordinates responses of public safety agencies (e.g., Police, Fire, EMS).
SCHEDULE:
Flexible: Monday - Friday 4 pm - 11 pm and
Saturday - Sunday 8 am - 11 pm
each day in 4 - 6 hour increments
as second Dispatcher.
Extra shifts may be available. Open Holidays are paid a premium wage.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum two years’ experience in public safety dispatch
Experience with CAD, computer-aided dispatch
Must possess and maintain COLLECT/NCIC certification, APCO EMD certification, AT&T E-911 certification and CPR certification.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
Ability to multitask and be self-starter
Ability to work alone and in high stress situations
Excellent customer service skills
SALARY:
$25.00 / hr
