We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Facilities Custodian to join our team. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facilities. This is an important role in ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our members and guests.

- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when supplies need to be replenished
- Perform floor care duties such as buffing, waxing, and polishing floors
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed
-Prepare rooms for special functions, setting up tables, chairs and linens as directed by event planning staff, support set up of AV equipment as directed, dismantle and store after the event as directed

-Perform minor grounds work as directed

-Perform minor repairs such as electrical, plumbing and carpentry
- Adhere to custodial procedures to maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborate with team members to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner

Skills:
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques, including buffing and waxing
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and carpet cleaners
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Good time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
