The Produce Department Head is responsible for managing department inventory, in-stock position, pricing integrity, merchandising, labor, and other operation processes to meet company standards. They must follow Company sales and production planning standards and ensure the department achieves the standards of performance as outlined in the work plan. They ensure proper inventory control and rotation for freshness and availability.
The Department Head must also be able to assist customers with special requests and answer questions about produce and floral products. They must follow strict standards of sanitation, food safety, and personal hygiene.
