Meat Department employees stock, cut, grind, wrap, weigh, price and display products. They stock packaged and frozen food products and work with power meat saws, slicers, grinders, wrapping machines, and knives. They must follow the company sales and production planning standards and will ensure that the department achieves the standards of performance as outlined in the work plan. They must adhere to strict standards of sanitation, food safety, and personal hygiene.
