Tower Semiconductor is a global specialty foundry leader! We specialize in manufacturing analog integrated circuits for more than 300 customers worldwide in growing markets such as automotive, medical, industrial, consumer and aerospace and defense, among others.
Apply Electrical Engineering concepts and assist Facility Electrical Engineer with assigned projects, and all routine maintenance tasks; scheduled and unscheduled.
* Perform Equipment Power Requirements. Analyze, calculate, and specify power required for future and current equipment.
* Prepare specifications for Electrical Power Feeders with all required Electrical Calculations.
* All Design Drawings are to be completed in Auto-Cad to bid to multiple Electrical contractors.
* Analyze and address any Power Quality issues
* Apply the National Electric Code for all electrical designs and work
* Other tasks as directed by the manager or requested by team members
Assignment Complexity
* Ability to perform tasks that are simple to medium in complexity under guidance.
Knowledge & Abilities:
* Ability to apply Engineering concepts to solve problems and provide creative solutions
* AutoCAD knowledge is a must
* Interact with floor personnel and team member and demonstrate good communication
Working Conditions
* Work in office setting, Facilities, and a FAB clean-room environment
Supervision
* No direct management responsibilities
* Prior internship experience is a plus
* Computer and AutoCAD skills
* Analytical and problem-solving skills
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
Education/Licenses/Certifications:
* Student must be active in an Electrical Engineering program; working toward achieving Bachelor's degree.
**Must be able to commute and be on-site**
