Tower Behavioral Health is a 144 bed facility that is recruiting a Child, and Adolescent Inpatient Psychiatrist. We have other positions available including full-time staff psychiatrists, weekend, evening, and overnight coverage. The region offers excellent schools, colleges, parks, affordable housing, and a low cost of living. Tower Behavioral Health is a joint venture in Reading with Tower Health and is one of the 17 JV's we have with local, nonprofit partners throughout the country. The Physician offices are located on the beautiful Acadia-TBH campus in the new Medical Office Building.

Compensation range $295,000-375,000

*Total compensation may vary based on additional services, including call coverage, administrative services, performance bonus, etc. Compensation may also vary based on productivity.

Responsibilities

Summary:

• Responsible for providing clinical services to patients at the facility.
• Practice within medical protocols defined by federal and state regulations, as well as by corporate, facility policy or procedures.
• Review medical information on patients to ensure medical stability and to offer medical recommendations.
• Evaluate patients for mental, emotional or behavioral disorders.
• Treat or direct treatment of patients, utilizing a variety of psychotherapeutic methods and medications.
• Review and complete medical information for individual care plans, documents services and information in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required.
• One or more years’ post graduate degree practice preferred.
• Licensed in the the state in which the facility(s) operate.

Licenses/Certifications:

• Board certification in psychiatry
• Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions and per regulation within the state in which the practitioner will be working.
