We're seeking to add an experienced, talented grill cook to our culinary team in Webster Groves.
O O Pizza is an independently owned restaurant in Webster Groves serving a full menu of from-scratch Italian fare. Since opening in 2020, O O Pizza has been recognized as one of the best Italian restaurants in St. Louis by the Riverfront Times, as well as a Top 100 restaurant by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Led by Executive Chef Mike Risk, our menus emphasize freshness and seasonality, our pastas and doughs are all hand-made, and our culinary team - from AM prep to PM line - is a cohesive team of talented, friendly people.
Line cooks will ideally have previous experience on multiple stations, including pantry, grill, and saut, and have the flexibility to be cross-trained on these stations. We're specifically seeking cooks who are proud of their skills handling proteins and sauces and passionate about doing things the right way. That said, we highly value passionate applicants who have a desire to learn and grow, and are open to candidates with a range of professional experience.
Typical responsibilities for Grill Cooks will include:

• Set up designated station before service
• Prep any necessary items before service
• Manage station throughout service with highest culinary standards
• Operate with the highest standards of team communication and safety
• Work with culinary team to set goals and prep lists for next day
• Close down station at end of service

O O Pizza is open for dinner 7 nights a week, so this is an evening-only position. Typical shifts for Line Cooks will begin between 2:00 and 3:00 p.m. and end between 10:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. Full-time and part-time hours are both available.
Pay for this position will be in the range of $18.00 to $20.00 per hour based on relevant professional experience.
