Tourneau|Bucherer is seeking a Summer 2024 Helpdesk Intern who will provide support to the members of the IT team on a variety of projects over for the summer internship program period.

Period: 10 weeks starting on June 11, 2024
Compensation: $16 per hour
Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday *Interns will be required to work in office fully on-site

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO BE INVOLVED IN:

• Review and update documentation for IT policies, procedures, standards and guidelines
• Provide level 1 technical support to corporate and store users
• Research and evaluate applications and services for use by IT. Provide a matrix when possible, detailing features within each different application or service
• Assistance with the deployment and upkeep of IT services
• Work with closely with IT Support Desk Supervisor and Level 1 Helpdesk
• Write and Implement scripts to automate tasks and improve efficiencies
• Provide first level compliance monitoring and investigations.
• Assist with forensics analysis and fact gathering.
• Assist with vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for specific applications, services, networks and servers as required.
• Record and track IT incidents, including but not limited to compromised accounts, e-mail threats, and abuse reports from various sources.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be a full-time undergraduate/graduate student in good academic standing.
• Currently working towards a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Security or other related degree
• Ideal students have some experience with the following:
• Microsoft Word, Visio, Excel
• HTML/Web Design (any language)
• MySQL or another related database
• Knowledge of windows and Linux
• IT ticketing or helpdesk systems
• You must be self-managed and committed to working in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional and positive communication skills.

SALARY RANGE: $16/hour, nonexempt OT eligible.
