The Purpose:
To support the community by validating and monitoring that residents’ needs are met while evaluating that nursing care and performance is in compliance with all state/federal regulations and Touchstone Communities policies & procedures.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise implementation of nursing restorative program
  • Participate in reviewing Quality Measure reports, such as VIGOR, 5 Star and Casper Reports, and identify areas of opportunity to provide resident centered care when required
  • Review and analyze risk management reports to determine root cause(s) and plans of action
  • Prepare, review and analyze Infection Control Report
  • Review all orders for admitted/readmitted residents with “eyes on” skin assessment, validation that ordered medication is in house and available and all required equipment is in available and in place
  • Direct and supervise scheduling of Team Members within established guidelines for allocation of nursing service personnel on duty
  • Other duties as requested by Director of Nursing
Qualifications:
  • Must have a current and valid Texas RN license or a current and valid RN license from a Compact Party State
  • At least 2 years long term care experience
