Provide ongoing in-home, office-based, and/or community-based individual and/or family/group treatment.
Participate in and facilitate Child and Family Teams (CFT) according to the AZ Practice Model, and communicates regularly with members of the child’s clinical team
Completes clinical assessments to identify developmental, emotional and behavioral needs of children aged 0-5 through observation, interviews and standardized assessments.
Evaluates therapeutic goals and needs based on assessment for impact of trauma, symptomology, caregiver-child relationship quality, and parental stress
Utilize caregivers and age-appropriate play therapy interventions to help children express themselves, develop social skills, and manage emotions effectively.
Engages in the ethical practice of psychotherapy according to the laws and regulations of the State of Arizona, the discipline of each therapist, and the ACA Code of Ethics that Touchstone has adopted.
Completes all required clinical documentation in accordance with ACA ethical guidelines and Arizona Health Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) requirements
Updates consumer documentation as appropriate to maintain an accurate Electronic Medical Record; maintains record compliance in accordance with regulatory and agency expectations including, but not limited to assessments, demographics, consents, discharge documentation, transfers, etc. in a timely manner and treatment plans.
Responds to Crisis in a timely manner according to determined procedure.
Develops positive supportive relationships with consumers, families, stakeholders, and other THS employees
Participate in individual and group supervision, consultation, and team/program meetings
Maintains case load based on guidelines recommended by the AZ board of Behavioral Health.
Maintains schedule consisting of no less than 27 clinical hours per week
