Touchmark at All Saints is Sioux Falls’ leading full-service retirement community, enriching the lives of residents and their families through five-star hospitality, services and amenities.

We are currently seeking the right person to join our team as a Building Services Director.

General Responsibilities as the Building Services Director :

• Responsibility and oversight of the entire Building Services and Housekeeping teams at our community.
• Direct management of the Building Services Supervisor and Housekeeping Manager to ensure high quality day to day operations for those departments.
• Indirect oversight of the team members for our Building Services Department.
• Coordination and supervision of the various Building Services projects throughout our community, including apartment and home refurbs;
• landscaping and ground keeping; electrical maintenance and installation; heating and cooling systems; ordering project parts / supplies;

ensuring all state and federal codes are met.

Assist in the development and monitoring of the Building Services budget.

The ideal candidate will be someone who :

• Is compassionate and works with integrity

• Has a desire to learn new things (our industry, services, processes)
• Is motivated to help and serve others (this is what gets them out of bed in the morning)

Additionally, successful candidates will have :

Degree in engineering, industrial management, construction management, or a related field and 7 years’ experience in facilities maintenance or a related field;

• Strong understanding of building systems to include; HVAC, electrical, plumbing, Life Safety, carpentry, painting, floor coverings, etc.
• Industry-specific certifications are highly desired.
• Previous positions must demonstrate increasingly responsible experience in facilities management and 5 years’ experience managing staff.
• Possession of a valid Driver's License

This is a salaried, exempt position with on-call status.
