Description

Toth and Associates (TOTH) is seeking a licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) who can provide their skill set and experience to our growing survey practice.

The Professional Land Surveyor will lead projects and perform work related to all aspects of boundary surveying and topographic mapping in both field and office settings. You will have the opportunity to demonstrate your competency with conventional surveying, digital terrain models, reality modeling, GPS processing, 3D data collection and processing, ALTA surveying and mapping, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage land surveying for a wide range of projects (electric utility, civil projects, new site construction, and more)
  • Create relationships with clients and manage projects to meet schedule and budget goals
  • Collaborate with staff in multiple offices to accomplish complex, fast-paced projects
  • Review work performed by survey technicians in AutoCAD
  • Implement project specific safety and quality control protocols
  • Establish project goals and oversee the QA/QC process

Qualifications


TOTH will accept a range of experience levels with salary being predicated on experience and licensure.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or high school equivalency certificate and a minimum of seven (7) years as a licensed surveyor
  • Associates degree and a minimum of five (5) years as a licensed surveyor
  • Bachelors degree and a minimum of three (3) years as a licensed surveyor

Required Experience

  • Must be a licensed Professional Land Surveyor
  • Three (3) plus years of progressively increasing responsible work experience in the field and/or office survey work
  • Three (3) plus years of project management experience
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, CAD-Earth, Carlson, and Microsoft Office
  • Comprehensive knowledge of ALTAs, boundary, topographic, and construction surveying
  • Strong ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
