TotalMed is Hiring a Remote HR Advice and Counsel - Reasonable Accommodation Partner

Position Title - HR Advice and Counsel - Reasonable Accommodation Partner
Address – Remote, but must be local to - Cumberland, RI
Payrate - $28.06/hr.
Hours – Monday- Friday 8-4:30 or 8:30-5:00
Vaccine Requirement - Yes

Position Purpose:
The Reasonable Accommodation Partner is responsible for engaging in the interactive process with colleagues, applicants and leaders when a colleague or applicant requests a workplace accommodation to enjoy the benefits and privileges of employment, perform the essential functions of the position due to a disability, or for a sincerely held religious belief. The Reasonable Accommodation Partner recommends solutions to support requests for accommodation and they will manage the dialogue between the requestor and business leader, ensuring confidentiality in the process

Education and Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • 2 years of experience in administering reasonable accommodation requests and an understanding of ADA.
  • 2 years of experience in employee relations and/or human resources
  • Must have multitasking skills to manage outbound calls while documenting information received and handling case tasks which may include sending letters to colleagues who have disengaged from the interactive process.
  • Use of a case management system for all steps in the process is required, so prior use of case management software is recommended.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.06 per hour
