Overview: We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team. As a Low Voltage Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting low voltage systems. This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise and attention to detail. Responsibilities: - Install and configure low voltage systems, including security systems, fire alarms, access control systems, and CCTV systems - Test and troubleshoot low voltage systems to ensure proper functionality - Perform regular maintenance and inspections of low voltage systems - Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget - Follow blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications to ensure accurate installation - Provide technical support and assistance to clients as needed - Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in low voltage technology Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Low Voltage Technician or similar role - Strong knowledge of computer hardware and networking principles - Ability to detect and resolve issues in low voltage systems - Familiarity with telecommunication systems and equipment - Mechanical knowledge for installation of equipment and devices - Experience working with IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems) is preferred - Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics - Relevant certification or training in low voltage systems is a plus Benefits: - Competitive salary based on experience - Health insurance coverage - Retirement plan options - Paid time off If you have the skills and qualifications required for this position, we encourage you to apply.
