Ready 123 Solutions, LLC is Hiring a Low Voltage Cable Technician Near Omaha, NE

Low Voltage Cable Tech

Duties:

- Install, maintain, and repair low voltage systems, including computer networks, telecommunication systems, and security systems.
- Perform network installations and cable terminations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with low voltage systems.
- Conduct fiber splicing and perform testing to ensure proper functionality.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Provide field service support for low voltage systems.
- Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to complete installations and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Experience:

- Previous experience as a Low Voltage Technician or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of computer networking concepts and protocols.
- Mechanical knowledge for installation and maintenance of low voltage systems.
- Experience working as a service technician in the low voltage industry.
- Proficiency in cabling techniques and network installation practices.
- Familiarity with hand tools used in low voltage work.
- Ability to perform fiber splicing and conduct testing on fiber optic cables.
- Knowledge of Ethernet and telecommunication technologies.
