Total Aerospace Services is Hiring a Quality Assurance Inspector Near Boca Raton, FL
Our client, a leading provider in the aviation maintenance industry, is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to join their team in Pompano Beach, FL. This position plays a crucial role in certifying airworthiness of parts, ensuring compliance with FAA standards, and maintaining quality control processes.
Responsibilities:
- Certify parts using FAA Form 8130-3 to meet regulatory requirements
- Act as the Designated Quality Representative for aerospace companies
- Ensure supplier products meet quality standards
- Resolve product quality issues and process customer returns
- Conduct internal quality audits to AS9100 standards
- Manage the Quality Control Hold Area and maintain compliance with ATC/AERO policies
- Communicate effectively with customers, OEM, and FAA representatives
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Quality and Aviation
- Familiarity with FAA regulations and AS9100 requirements
- Ability to interpret engineering design drawings and specifications
- Strong computer literacy and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Experience with ISO, OEM and FAA regulations
- Prior involvement with FAA or military equivalent
- Designee approval by the FAA is a plus
