Our Senior Systems Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and administering our company's computer infrastructure. Primary duties will include maintenance of computer networks, hardware, software, and other related systems, performing disaster recovery operations, protecting data, software, and hardware from attacks, and replacing faulty network hardware components when necessary. The position will also be responsible for working closely with the users of our network to identify potential issues and fix existing problems.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design and manage Active Directory Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks.
• Manage Group Policy for multiple domains.
• Analyzing network data and infrastructure to determine inefficiencies and problems.
• Developing and designing network architecture and computer systems infrastructure.
• Overseeing the development, installation, configuration, and administration of computer systems.
• Monitoring computer systems and networks for viruses, malfunctions, and errors.
• Troubleshooting technical issues and developing effective solutions.
• Training the Help Desk team on new systems, protocols, and best practices.
• Keeping abreast of the latest advancements in technology, protocols, and best practices.
• Familiarity with operating systems, such as Linux and Microsoft.
• Experience with database management software, such as MySQL, Oracle RDBMS, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Good knowledge of networking protocols, such as TCP, IP, and OSI models.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Meeting with the management team to assess and define the system requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• 7 plus years experience required (10 plus years preferred) with Windows 2008/2012/2016/2019 Server Administration, Remote Desktop Services, Windows 7 and 10, MS Office Suite and PC imaging applications is required.
• Provide second and third level support for common IT issues such as network connectivity issues, firewall set-up and troubleshooting and remote access questions.
• Experience working with Office 365 Administration and software.
• Experience in IT Service Management systems and ticketing.
• Understanding of Network Monitoring Applications.
• Has extensively supported users in a Microsoft Exchange environment.
• Familiar with support of Teams Phone System.
• Experience with iOS phones and tablets as well as Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms.
• Regular participation in a 24x7 on-call phone support rotation and occasional work during non-standard work hours is required.
• Familiarity with SASE Zero Trust Network Design.

Desired Qualifications:

• Prior experience with multi-cultural teams.
• ITIL Foundation Certification.
• Management of outsourced IT Support.
• Experience in manufacturing, sales, and distribution environments with remote users is also desirable.
• Knowledge of technologies such as Nasuni, Cohesity, Zerto, and Cato Networks.

Education:Minimum degree in MIS, Business or Computer Science, or any related field.
