Job Title: Head Bartender

Reports To: Bar Manager or General Manager

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Bartender to lead our bar team in delivering outstanding service and exceptional drinks to our guests. The Head Bartender will be responsible for managing the bar operations, including developing cocktail menus, ordering inventory, training staff, and maintaining a clean and organized bar.

Key Responsibilities:

*Create and execute innovative cocktail menus and specials that meet guest preferences and sales goals. *Train and develop bartenders and bar-backs on customer service, product knowledge, and drink preparation techniques. *Manage inventory levels, ordering, and pricing for all bar supplies, including alcohol, mixers, glassware, and other supplies. *Ensure all bartenders follow proper pouring, mixing, and garnishing techniques to deliver high-quality cocktails and drinks. *Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including equipment, glassware, and bar supplies. *Collaborate with the kitchen and restaurant management team to ensure efficient and effective bar service and communication between the bar and the restaurant. *Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements, including licensing and safety regulations. *Develop and manage budgets for the bar operations.

Qualifications:

*3 years of experience as a bartender, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or management role. *Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, and beer, and experience creating and executing cocktail menus. *Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to train, develop, and motivate staff. *Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills. *Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. *Knowledge of POS systems and basic computer skills. *Experience with inventory management, ordering, and cost control.

Physical Requirements:

*Ability to stand for extended periods of time. *Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. *Ability to work in a noisy and sometimes hectic environment.
