Torch Technologies is Hiring a Remote Threat Analyst
Torch Technologies is seeking a Threat Analyst for the purpose of analyzing and developing emerging threats. The candidate should have experience in technical disciplines such as physics, math or other applicable technical disciplines to create and analyze threat performance. The position requires true analysis work with large data sets to provide clear conclusions about the data. It will be beneficial for the candidate to be capable of writing scripts for data processing and analysis of data. The knowledge of MATLAB, C/C or Python is desirable. The candidate will work with a diverse team and be expected to have a strong technical competency in trajectory development. Experience with proven tools such as OSC, XPATCH, and TOAS or other tools to model threats and threat trajectories is required. Execution of existing models and simulations analyzing data against results will be necessary to verify results. This is a true data analyst position that requires physics, math and some coding experience. Qualified candidates will work within a team environment, but will be responsible for their assigned tasking, and take a proactive role to assure that their tasking responsibilities are completed on schedule.
Job Requirements:B.S. degree (MS preferred) in Physics, Math or other technical disciplines from an accredited university and 5 plus yrs. experience is required. Position requires that candidate hold a secret level security clearance in to access classified information. Inability to maintain a security clearance will result in candidate being ineligible for this position.
