Torch Technologies is currently seeking experienced modeling and simulation developer who will help maintain the current suite of US ARMY Project Office supported simulations and provide specific analysis for government use. The candidate will support software development to meet government customers’ needs and implement solutions to address software related requirements for multiple execution environments. The candidate will be part of a team developing, testing, and integrating new and existing modeling and simulation tools. The candidate should be self-motivated and have a proven record of developing robust software applications. Qualified candidates will work within a collaborative team environment composed of government and supporting contractor personnel. The candidate will have excellent communication, organizational and technical writing skills. Candidates must have experience in software development using high-level languages such as C , Python, and familiar with FORTRAN in primarily a Linux environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with modeling hardware in a real time environment using multiple threads and and interfacing with multiple real time interfaces.

• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other technical discipline from an accredited university
• More than 10 year's of hands-on experience in software development using high-level languages C/C and Python
• Familiarity with and preferably experience with the Qt4 and Qt5
• Familiarity with and preferably experience with the FORTRAN and PERL programming language
• Demonstrated expertise with modern Integrated Development Environments (IDE) such as Visual Studio, Eclipse, or similar IDE environments
• Experience with version control systems such as Git, subversion, etc.
• The ability to react quickly to changing engineering challenges and mission requirements
• US Citizenship is required for this position
• Eligibility to obtain a United States SECRET clearance is required for ongoing employment in this position
