Job Description

The Torch Technologies team is currently seeking to hire an Integration Team Specialist. The successful candidate will work directly for a Government Senior Civilian Director; thus, the successful candidate will have the utmost professional skills, effective and efficient communication skills, strong organizational skills, and self-motivation. Primary responsibility is to assist the Director with actions needed to integrate the work of four separate subordinate Divisions. Ensures the most efficient and effective support is provided to the Director in the execution of his/her responsibilities.

Tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for generating, prioritizing, and managing correspondence within the Directorate
  • Coordinates all meetings, pre-briefs, and other events with other organizations, individuals, and staff 
  • Ensures all CONUS and OCONUS travel requirements are met
  • Responsible for the maintenance and quality control of files and correspondence
  • Develops internal operating procedures for routine office functions
  • Maintains and manages Director’s calendar, has authority for commitment of time
  • Receives, screens, and answers telephonic and personal visitors/guests, answering inquiries and making referrals as appropriate
  • Handles classified materials and/or matters of confidentiality and sensitivity.
  • Types a variety of other materials in final form from rough drafts, notes, or oral instructions
  • Forecasts potential requirements, deconflicts problems, and plans and projects time for historically recurring requirements
  • Works with Directorate elements to make available documents, speeches, position papers, and briefings for the Director’s use in meetings, briefings, and social functions
  • Utilize computers, office hardware, and software to perform word processing, email, graphics, calendars, and database management.
Job Requirements
  • Must have excellent writing and grammar skills and the ability to create memorandums, information papers, executive summaries and other forms of written correspondence.
  • Must be efficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).
  • Both education and professional experience will be considered. 
  • The position requires a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with Army acronyms and forms of correspondence is a plus.
  • Position requires that the candidate possess a SECRET security clearance to access classified material. Inability to obtain/maintain a security clearance will result in the candidate being ineligible for this position.
