Job Summary: 

The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for assisting customers with the purchasing process; while providing a comfortable atmosphere for the customer; and while ensuring operational accuracy of each performed transaction.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Receive, confirm, and process all customer purchase orders for assigned accounts. Over 150 transactions per month per CS Representative.
• Forecast materials for assigned accounts
• Create shipping documents for outside warehouses
• Create RMA when material is damaged or mis-shipped
• Coordinate with scheduling and production when a material is producing past customer's due date
• Coordinate shipping details for imported materials including filing ISFs
• Enter sales transactions into the system with accuracy 
• Manage incoming phone calls and emails with professionalism and tact 
• Recall customer information (i.e., past sales, order status, etc.) from the system when necessary 
• Verify the status of customer orders through utilization of TREC’s ERP system 
• Work in conjunction with other CSR’s, account managers, and warehouse personnel 
• Assist in the training/ development of new customer service employees 
• Take care of all customers through direct action or indirectly by assisting others 
• Work with company employees to attain company goals 
• Participate in focus groups, safety, and other location meetings as required 
• Responsible for conformity to product requirements shall have the authority to stop production to correct quality problems. 
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications: 

• Previous manufacturing customer service, call center, and/or on-line order entry experience 
• 3-5 years’ experience 
• Experience handling key and/or international accounts a plus 
• Strong phone etiquette skills, verbal communications, grammatical and professional business skill sets 
• Solid computer skills (MS Office); CRM & ERP experience a plus 
• Outgoing, confident and detail oriented 
• Adept at multi-tasking, self-motivated with a strong drive to resolve issues quickly and effectively and work well within a team atmosphere 
• Demonstrated experience in the customer service, supporting Domestic and International customers 
• Comprehensive understanding of ERP and CRM systems and their operation/function/capabilities. 
• Ability to develop and maintain business relationships with supported organizations. 
• Related experience may be substituted for formal training.
