Position: Recruiter
Location: Remote or Indianapolis, Indiana
Minimum Starting Pay: $26.00/hr
YOUR OPPORTUNITY
The Recruiter will strategically and tactically manage operational recruiting. In addition to posting, sourcing, interviewing, scheduling, and extending offers, you’ll play a key role in providing a positive candidate experience and elevating our employer brand within the market assigned. This role works alongside the broader Recruiting team, HR Managers and Hiring Managers to deliver talent for our business.
WHAT YOU’LL DO ON A DAILY BASIS
Own full-cycle recruitment for manufacturing, distribution, and customer service high volume recruiting (30-40 requisition desk) which includes:
- Create job postings within employment branding parameters.
- Posting Jobs within 24 hours of request/notification of approval
- Sourcing candidates and building pipelines
- Reviewing and Screening applicants/candidates/leads within 24 hours of application/interest.
- Interviewing applicants in-person, phone, and virtually
- Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes.
- Interview Scheduling within 24 hours of screen
- Advancing candidates through the hiring process in applicant tracking system
- Manage the selection process to ensure proper placement of motivated and qualified candidates is achieved.
- Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process.
- Assisting new hires with on-boarding and orientation
WHAT WE WANT YOU TO ACCOMPLISH
- Partner with hiring managers to understand business needs, advise on recruiting practice and communicate recruiting progress through weekly touch bases and thoughtful analysis, backing up advise with data points.
- Develop and execute sourcing techniques and build strategic talent pools to meet current and future talent needs such as open interview days, continuous interview activity for positions always recruiting for, and building relationships with sources.
- Manage and collaborate with external partners including, community, educational, and civic organizations to position company as an employer of choice. This includes Temporary Service Agency Partners, Career Centers, Community Colleges, Trade Schools, Community Centers, and others.
- Maintain applicable records and candidate/new hire data using ATS, Excel, Sharepoint, Teams, and other forms of tracking software.
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations and company policies, such as EEOC, attendance, etc.
- Elevate our employer brand within your market by keeping a positive, team player attitude.
- Collaborate alongside the broader Recruiting team, HR Managers and Hiring Managers to deliver talent for our business by keeping a positive, team player attitude.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE
- 3 years full cycle, high volume recruiting experience (30-40 desk)
- Experience recruiting in manufacturing or general labor environment desirable.
- Bilingual (Spanish) helpful
- Proficient with utilizing and documenting within an Applicant Tracking (ATS) and Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) systems
- Proficient with posting jobs and communicating with candidates using job sourcing platforms (really, ZipRecruiter, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Ability to deliver in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment with shifting priorities and multiple deadlines.
POSITION DETAILS
- Monday through Friday 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM, 8am–5pm or 8:30am – 5:30pm.
- This position is required to work onsite 3 days per week with 2 days remote (if local to the market)
