ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Field Inbound Calls from new prospects.
  • Make Outbound calls to leads provided by the agency.
  • Manage Leads and Pipelines.
  • Contacts prospective clients about insurance products and policies.
  • Meets with potential clients to discuss adequacy of existing insurance coverage and related financial resources.
  • Explains coverage details to clients when selecting coverage to best meet their needs.
  • Lead, and referral development as needed or requested.
  • Data entry of all required client information.
  • Quoting, rating, and binding insurance policies using the agencies carrier appointments.
  • Communicating timely, and effectively with all staff, insureds, carriers, underwriters.
  • Develops and maintains effective understanding of the carrier partner guidelines, and all underwriting trailing document requirements for binding.
  • Responsible for collecting all insurance related documents from the insured including payments.
  • Maintaining diligence and timely Salesforce system activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion.
  • A valid insurance license (2-20, 4-40, or 20-44).
  • At least one year of Property and Casualty insurance sales experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Strong computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office software.
  • Salesforce and Rater (QuoteRush, EXLynx, etc) experience is a plus.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus.
  • Have a POSITIVE Attitude, be a Self-Starter and be ready to work hard and have fun doing it.
