Topgolf is looking for a data analyst to work closely with its Business Intelligence team to interpret and drive value across the organization. This person will partner with operational and finance partners to understand what is happening within the business so solutions can be developed to unlock insights. As a Data Analyst they will spend time understanding what information is captured by the systems used at TopGolf and how that can be used to optimize performance at the venue. The key focus will be to turn data into meaningful insights by describing what is happening within the business.
Key Responsibilities

• Perform research, analyzes reports, and creates statistical models for presentation/review. Summarizes findings and communicates results to partners
• Identifies opportunities to maximize data usage, applying modeling and optimization methods to develop new strategies and improve business performance
• Develops ad-hoc analytics and reporting based on analysis of existing data sources, utilizing a variety of tools (e.g., QuickSight, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.)
• Accesses / organizes data; builds out analyses to propose solutions for business problems
• Implement processes for acquiring and integrating data from various sources
• Conduct exploratory analyses to generate insights and identify patterns in data

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Finance, Communications or equivalent experience, required
• 2 years Leveraging and using databases to model and design data for insights
• 2 years Technical writing experience in relevant areas, including queries, reports, and presentations
• 1 years Interpreting, reporting, and decision-making based on analytics solution adoption (QuickSight, PowerBI, Tableau, or similar)
• 1 years Experience working directly with data engineers and developers to envision features that can be used for analytics
• Proven analytical skills, including mining, evaluation, and data visualization
• Experience mining data and the details for insights
• Strong communicator who can distill complex topics, and facilitate feedback from various stakeholders
• Technical background and/or working experience
• Flexibility and ability to handle context shifts
• Extreme attention to detail, driving for pixel perfection
• Highly motivated self-starter with a passion for making high quality analytical solutions
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Committed to a great user experience
• Strong sense of ownership and drive
• Positive, enthusiastic attitude with ability to interact with cross-departmental groups
