Forty-eight-year-old Top Coverage is a SEMA PRO shop and the leading automotive restyler throughout Illinois (and now in Wisconsin). We are one of the largest sunroof installation companies in the country and service over 400 new car dealerships. We specialize in vehicle customization by building limited edition packages that include leather interiors, sunroofs, wheels, lift kits/truck accessories/custom truck builds, heated seats, grilles, appearance packages, electronics (12 Volt), window tint/PPF film/ vinyl, etc... Top Coverage took home both 2022 SEMA PRO Restyler of the Year award & won the SEMA PRO Pro Cup Challenge Award for Fan Favorite with their EV Ford Lighting F150 Retro Design.

We're looking to add another leather upholstery technician/specialist to our incredible Wisconsin installation team! Aside from the leather interior, everyone within our shop is cross-training on 12-volt, truck builds, etc. (we do this to ensure work in case a specific part becomes unavailable which happened during COVID--we will adapt by increasing volume among the available products). Being a team player has been detrimental to our success/growth even during an automotive chip crisis and dealerships' lack of inventory--so if you're a team player and want to grow as a team, we ENCOURAGE you to apply!

Pay will vary according to a part-time role or full-time as well as experience level as we will cross-train an individual for other roles in addition to leather and seat comfort installation. Please note if you can custom sew.

Job Title:

Currently Looking for an experienced leather upholstery technician

Job Requirements:

-Minimum 1 year of experience

-Mechanically inclined is a must

-Previous technical/ mechanical is ideal

-Technicians are responsible for inbound vehicle inspection, product installation, quality control, final inspection, and work area cleanliness.

-Basic hand tools required (we provide some)

-Looking for motivated workers

-Must work well in a team environment

-Must have a valid driver’s license

-Able to handle a minimum of 50 LBS

This is an hourly commission/production-based pay position, meaning the more output you can produce, the more income you make.
