Position Summary As a cashier, you will be providing a positive customer experience with fair, friendly, and courteous service.

You will be using point-of-sale equipment to register sales by scanning items, itemizing, and totaling customers' purchases. Responsibilities

• Processes customer purchases, perform general cleaning duties and return misplaced items to the shelves.
• Provide exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly to the store management team.
• Provide feedback to management on all products, inventory losses, scanning errors, and general issues.
• Participate in taking store inventory counts according to guidelines and monitoring inventory for accuracy.
• Adheres to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
• Complies with all other established company policies and procedures.
• Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to the direct leader.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

• Must be 16 years or older.
• Highly organized with a keen sense of details.
• Great listening and communication skills.
• Can handle lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, and twisting while handling products or using various equipment.
• Ability to shine in a fast-paced environment.
• Cash handling efficiency.

Physical demands : The physical demands and work conditions below represent those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

• Regularly required to stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the store.
• The work environment is typical of a retail store. The noise level ranges from quiet to loud. The front end of the store is partially cooler and must be able to adapt and be comfortable in a cooler-than-normal temperature environment.
• Minimal sitting is required.
