Electrical Apprentice- Louisville, KY location

Tom Drexler Plumbing, Air & Electric is looking for a top-quality person to join our Electrical Service Team! This position will be learning a wide variety of valuable skills from a Journeyman Electrician.

As a Electrical Apprentice , you will gain hands-on experience in many facets of electrical work focused on residential service. This position would allow you to earn hours to test for your own Electrician Journeyman's license and grow within our company. This position works hours between 7:00am – 8:00pm Monday through Friday, with rotating Weekends. You will be provided uniforms.

Essential Job Functions:

• Assist the Lead Electrician with light repair and installation work.
• Observe and learn all aspects of the trade.
• Wear floor savers while in the client’s home and maintain a neat work area when performing a repair or scheduled service.
• Show yourself as professional and knowledgeable to win new referrals and repeat business.
• Always be courteous, respectful, and pleasant to the customer.
• Be accurate and timely with all paperwork.
• Obey the company Code of Ethics and the Team Rules.
• Maintained a clean, organized job site and well-inventoried truck.
• Always be safety-conscious both on the job and while driving.
• Represent the Tom Drexler way- Positive, Professional, Passionate.

Qualifications:

• Availability to work Monday through Friday with a rotating Saturday as needed
• Must be comfortable with physical labor.
• Must be comfortable getting your hands dirty.
• Ability to lift up to 75lbs regularly.
• Customer service oriented.
• Energetic, positive, and self-motivated.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Detail-oriented, eager to learn, take pride in your work and have a passion for producing high-quality results.
• Must be able to get to and from different job sites around Louisville, KY.

Experience/Education:

• MUST have 1 years of professional experience as an electrician (preferably in a residential setting).

Compensation:

• $17 - $19 per hour
