About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field (Electrical or Mechanical engineering preferred).
  • At least 4 years of experience in a related industrial product marketing and/or sales management capacity and/or applications engineering, preferably in the automation or motion control industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective product management strategies for the life cycle of a technical product.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to present technically to a broad audience.
  • Ability to strategically analyze data, consult with stakeholders, formulate a position and then present a compelling argument for that position.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a project from concept through fulfillment.
  • Demonstrated ability to be effective and collaborative with the sales team on winning new business.
  • Sound decision-making abilities; ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to travel 20-25% of the time.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide audience on technical subjects.

Primary Objective:

To drive the success and manage the total life cycle of Tolomatic’s product offering including profitability, adoption/market share, obsolescence and customer satisfaction. To conduct market research, sales calls, Voice of Customer and competitive assessments; and then create market/product requirements for new product development and new technology exploration. To partner with sales and engineering to maintain product vitality. To develop impactful sales call support, sales enablement tools and product training.
