THMCC Stop Loss
TMHCC Stop Loss, a $2 Billion division within Tokio Marine HCC, leads the way in providing medical stop loss insurance sold to employers. Medical Stop Loss provides an added layer of insurance protection to employers who choose to self-fund their health benefit plans. Self-funding can incur risks from catastrophic claims, and Medical Stop Loss insurance from Tokio Marine HCC is designed to protect employers from that risk.
Headquartered in Kennesaw, Georgia, we have a key opportunity for a Project Manager. This person will report to the Project Management Office Director and will be based in our Kennesaw, GA office. Hybrid Work Schedule - 3 days in office.
Position Summary:
Oversees application and infrastructure-based projects. Manages the execution of programs and projects within the constraints of budget, schedule, and scope while minimizing risk and ensuring adherence to established processes and methodologies. Manages project teams to meet objectives of projects that are moderate to complex in scope, risk, and/or organization span or multiple moderate to complex projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage projects involving multiple department or cross-functional teams, focusing on both successful integration of technology and implementation of new IT solutions.
  • Manage schedules and ensure timely completion of project milestones
  • Anticipate bottlenecks and provide escalation management.
  • Anticipate and make tradeoffs, balance business needs versus technical constraints, and encourage risk-taking behavior to maximize business benefit
  • Adhere to IT project management methodology within the organization.
  • Formulates contingency plans to address schedule revisions, manpower adjustments, fund allocations, and work requirements.
  • Identify and manage interdependencies between concurrent IT projects.
  • Meets with management, sponsors, and project teams to review project scope/progress and resolve issues
Education/Experience:
  • PMP Certification
  • 4 Year / Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Business, a related field, or the equivalent education and/or experience
  • 7-10 years of relevant and progressive professional experience in a Project Manager role. Experience in computer systems, including applications and infrastructure
  • Waterfall and Agile methodologies
  • Experience with software performance testing tools and applications and or Infrastructure
Knowledge/Skills:
  • Possess and have ability to apply knowledge of principles, practices and procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact and diplomacy
  • Exceptional organization and analytical skills, demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks implement plans and control processes to ensure the successful delivery of the project.
  • Agile in managing risks, issues, and problems, with diplomacy and professionalism
  • Ability to communicate effectively with client representatives at all levels
