Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide quality dental care and treatment to patients while ensuring high standards of professionalism and patient satisfaction.

Duties:

- Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, and routine cleanings
- Conduct oral examinations, diagnose dental conditions, and develop treatment plans
- Utilize medical imaging equipment for diagnosing dental issues
- Maintain aseptic techniques and infection control measures in the dental office
- Record patient medical histories, vital signs, and treatment information accurately in electronic health records (Epic)
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and confidentiality
- Assess patients' oral health through examinations and X-rays
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care

Experience:

- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- State licensure to practice dentistry
- Proficiency in oral surgery procedures
- Knowledge of medical imaging techniques for diagnosing dental conditions
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
- Experience using electronic health records systems like Epic for medical documentation
- Strong patient assessment skills and ability to interpret diagnostic tests accurately
