BOH members are an incredibly important part of the Toastique team. As an integral member of the team, you will be responsible for prepping, dishwashing, juicing, keeping the café clean, and assisting elsewhere in the store as needed. As fresh made juice is a hugely important part of our business, one of your most important responsibilities will be to ensure juices are properly made and that all juices are always available for sale. In addition, you will make sure all prepared items are ready for each shift (prepping and refilling), and ensure the store is always clean. This is a full-time on-site role for Team Members staring in late May 2024 at Toastique in Austin, TX.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·Prepping and juicing daily according to the juice prep list

·Washing dishes, utensils and other kitchen items and putting everything back where it belongs

·Putting away deliveries using FIFO (First-IN, First-OUT)

·Staying organized and prioritizing tasks

·Communicating effectively with manager(s) and/or shift leads when inventory is running low, so items do not go out of stock

·Frequently checking trash, recycling, and composting bin levels and removing them to the appropriate area when full

·Assisting with any/all station prep when needed/as requested

·FOH duties including:

·checking for cleanliness and cleaning

·cleaning up after customer spills/accidents

·restocking utensils

·refilling water

·assisting on food prep stations as requested

·BOH duties including:

·checking restrooms frequently - cleaning and restocking as needed

·Accepting and putting away deliveries using FIFO

·Prep/restocking items

REQUIREMENTS

·Prior restaurant experience is preferred
