The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for all day-to-day activities within the store. They are responsible for employee management, scheduling, ordering and maximizing inventory, and most importantly customer satisfaction. The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for hiring and training new employees as well as their career developments such as performance reviews, goal setting and promotions.
We expect the Restaurant Manager to always have a strong understanding of every job duty and responsibility in the store. The Restaurant Manager will work with the Owners to push out new items, work special events, and continue growth and development in the community. The Restaurant Manager will lead by example, with quality, cleanliness and attitude.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Full compression of all job duties in the store
Ensuring employees are fully trained and understand the menu
Scheduling employee shifts
Keeping track and ordering inventory
Hiring and training new employees
Always maintain cleanliness of the store
Responsible for getting shifts covered for an absent team member
Works closely with Assistant Managers/shift leads making sure food quality and excellent customer service is met
Fulfilling catering orders, large deliveries, and participating in community events
Working with Owners to ensure the store is maintaining food & labor cost goals
Taking notice of corrective action whenever a team member does something against the Toastique standards
Ensures all in-store signage is up to date and all employee resources are current
Constant communication with the Owners to ensure the store is successful
REQUIREMENTS:
5 years of Hospitality Industry experience
Food Safety Manager Certification
2 years working at Toastique and/or proven leadership role
