Office Administrator

Hartselle Enquirer has an immediate opening for an office administrative position.

Hourly pay is $13-$16 depending upon experience.

Will work with the right candidate on a flexible work schedule 24-28 hours per week—either 4 or 5 weekdays.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Scheduling advertising orders and data entry
  • Preparing mailings
  • Interacting with customers and other departments
  • Processing reports in a timely manner
  • Assisting management with reporting
  • Filing
  • Answering phone calls and emails
  • Taking and delivering messages
  • Helping walk-in customers
  • Assisting with daily workflow
  • Keeping an inventory of office supplies and ordering new materials
  • Maintaining files
  • Scheduling meetings and sending meeting invites
  • Completing various other administrative duties.

The ideal candidate for this position is highly organized, has strong attention to detail with professionalism in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to multitask, prioritize deadlines, and keep information strictly confidential.

This position requires a high school degree or equivalent, at least two years of administrative experience, and proficiency with office phones, computer and software experience with MS Office programs including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and office equipment.

A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
