Job Description

TMC Technologies is in search of a Security Architect to support a federal client in Rosslyn, VA. The candidate must be a US citizen and possess a minimum of an active Secret clearance to start due to federal contract requirements. This position is considered to have a hybrid work schedule and will require on site work at least two days per week. The Security Architect will:

- Define and design/enhance security architecture and security systems.
- Collaborate with Application, Data & Infrastructure teams to architect, design and implement security solutions.
- Define and document security standards and direct implementation of standards and guidelines.
- Perform security audits and security reviews in compliance with Federal Government regulations and implement remediation.
- Create and manage the Security Risk plan.

Job Requirements

- Bachelor’s in Science degree and 14 years of relevant security experience; 12 years with Masters; 9 years with PhD. An additional 4 years of experience can be substituted in lieu of degree.
- Possess or be able to obtain before start date at least ONE of the following certifications: 
IAT Level II
IAT Level III 
- Active Secret security clearance required to start with the ability to obtain/maintain a final Top Secret security clearance.
 
Preferred Qualifications include: 

- Conducting Industry reviews.
- Experience writing white papers.
