Private Practice in Dunedin, FL seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Dental Assistant with at least 2 years of experience to join our team. This position is currently for 3 full days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) with the potential to add additional days in the future.

As a Dental Assistant, you will play an essential role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the office runs efficiently. We are looking for a candidate who is a quick learner and will help ensure the utmost comfort of our patients.

Requirements:

• Preferred at least 2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant
• X-ray certification
• Highly motivated with a positive attitude
• Goal-oriented with a strong work ethic
• Accountable and reliable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment

EFDA certification and experience with Dentrix are a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting chairside procedures
• Operatory set up and clean up
• Taking impressions
• Sterilizing instruments
• Fabricating temporary crowns
• Recording health history and vital signs
• Providing patients with procedure-related education and instructions
• Maintaining a clean and organized dental office
• Ordering and keeping inventory of dental supplies
• Keeping accurate patient records- charting, clinical notes
• Filling in basic front desk duties if necessary (answering phones, scheduling)
