TLC Dentistry is Hiring a Dental Office Receptionist Near Dunedin, FL

Private general dentistry practice in Dunedin, FL seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Front Desk Receptionist preferably with at least 2 years of experience to join our team. This position is currently for 2-3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) with the potential to add additional days in the future.

As a Front Desk Receptionist, you will play an essential role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the office runs efficiently. We are looking for a candidate who is a quick learner and will help ensure the utmost comfort of our patients. We are also looking for a candidate that has experience using Dentrix software, and experience submitting and processing insurance claims.

Requirements:

  • Preferred 2 years of experience in a dental office
  • Experience with Dentrix
  • Highly motivated with a positive attitude
  • Goal-oriented with a strong work ethic
  • Accountable and reliable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment
  • Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using dental office software (Dentrix)
  • Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims
  • Maintain patient records and update medical history forms
  • Assist with billing and payment processing
  • Coordinate with dental assistants and hygienists to ensure efficient patient flow
  • Provide information to patients regarding dental procedures, treatments, and post-operative care
  • Maintaining a clean and organized dental office
