Tjoapack is Hiring a Quality Assurance Specialist Near Knoxville, TN

Position background
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient individual to join our team as a Quality Assurance Specialist with expertise in digital systems administration. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software systems, while also leveraging your systems administration skills to optimize system performance, resolve technical issues, and support cross functional departments. Additional responsibilities include Customer Complaints and Deviation investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions and cross training support for the Quality team.

We expect that you have a positive mindset, able to assess the possibilities to produce more efficiently and take action on improvement ideas to do so. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will report to the Director Quality.

Your responsibilities include

  • Conduct thorough testing of software systems to identify and report bugs, defects, and inconsistencies.
  • Develop and implement test plans, test cases, and testing strategies to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and user needs, and to prioritize testing efforts accordingly.
  • Utilize testing tools and scripts to streamline the testing process and improve efficiency.
  • Apply systems administration expertise to monitor system performance, diagnose issues, and implement solutions to enhance system reliability and stability.
  • Investigate deviations from expected system behavior, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Document test results, procedures, deviation investigations, and best practices, and provide clear and concise reports to stakeholders.

Your background, qualification, and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in quality assurance testing methodologies and practices.
  • Strong proficiency in systems administration, including experience with Windows environments and ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with technical and non-technical team members.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Relevant certifications in quality assurance and/or systems administration.
