Titus Transport Seeks Detail-Oriented Fleet Maintenance Coordinator!

In this crucial role, you'll play a vital part in ensuring our fleet operates safely and efficiently by overseeing day-to-day maintenance activities for our customer-specific vehicles.

Here's what you'll do:

• Provide daily oversight of fleet maintenance, ensuring all customer specifications are met.
• Develop strong relationships with vendors to guarantee clear communication and timely repairs.
• Maintain strict adherence to preventative maintenance schedules.
• Collaborate with technicians and vendors to determine necessary repairs and explore cost-effective alternatives.
• Maintain a comprehensive record-keeping system to ensure all repairs are documented and compliant.
• Review and process electronic driver vehicle inspection reports (DVIRs).
• Analyze and approve repair estimates submitted by vendors.
• Oversee the repair process with vendors, ensuring timely and budget-conscious completion.
• Manage repair orders for internal shops, guaranteeing accurate data entry by technicians.
• Issue and manage purchase orders within our internal system.
• Bridge the gap between operations and maintenance by providing insights into service outcomes and potential delays.
• Be prepared to tackle additional duties as needed.

We're looking for someone who:

• Possesses a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in fleet maintenance supervision.
• Has a strong understanding of Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance regulations.
• Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with vendors and internal teams.
• Maintains a meticulous eye for detail and thrives in a data-driven environment.
• Is proficient in utilizing fleet maintenance software and related technologies.
• Possesses a problem-solving mindset and can effectively find cost-saving solutions.
• Maintains a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) – a plus!
