Titan Coatings International is Hiring a Laboratory Technician Near Detroit, MI
- Compounds, tests and adjusts small batches of paint under the direction of senior laboratory personnel.
- Paints parts/plaques/panels to be used for testing and/or demonstration purposes.
- Conducts specification testing and complaint investigation work as directed by senior laboratory personnel.
- Professionally documents work utilizing Laboratory Notebooks and the LR system.
- Maintains, operates and calibrates laboratory equipment and instruments such as microscopes, pH meters, viscometer, chemical balance scales, colorimeter, and other equipment.
- Controls R&D inventory of raw materials, ensuring that proper labeling standards are maintained.
- Assists in maintaining a professional, organized laboratory by keeping all lab equipment, fixtures and common work areas clean and orderly.
- Attends and participates in Laboratory Meetings.
