Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a variety of vehicles, including vans and trucks, to transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and secure packaging
- Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely and efficient transportation of goods
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting with clients in a professional and courteous manner
Experience:
- Previous experience as a driver, preferably in a commercial driving role
- Familiarity with operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks such as loading and unloading cargo
- Experience driving refrigerated trailers is a plus
Skills:
- Strong driving skills with a clean driving record
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate delivery of goods
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills for interacting with customers
