Job Title: Battery Technician and Scooter/Bike Mover
Job Description: We are seeking reliable and motivated individuals to join our team as an independent contractor for the position of Battery Technician and Scooter/Bike Mover. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently changing batteries in electric scooters and bikes, as well as relocating them as needed. This position offers a flexible schedule and the opportunity to work outdoors in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
Battery Maintenance: Perform routine battery swaps and replacements in electric scooters and bikes. Ensure all batteries are charged and operational before deployment.
Quality Assurance: Conduct basic inspections to ensure scooters/bikes are in good working condition. Report any issues or defects promptly to the appropriate channels.
Data Reporting: Maintain accurate records of battery changes, mileage, and other relevant data. Utilize mobile applications or software systems for logging work activities.
Scooter/Bike Moving: Transport scooters/bikes to designated locations based on operational needs. Follow routing instructions and safety protocols during transport.
Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers and respond to inquiries or concerns courteously. Provide basic assistance or guidance to users regarding scooter/bike functionalities.
Requirements: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 70 pounds. Basic knowledge of electric scooters/bikes or willingness to learn. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Reliable transportation to and from work locations. Flexibility to work varying hours, including evenings and weekends. Independent contractor status.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a similar role or familiarity with battery-operated devices. Proficiency in using smartphone apps for navigation and data entry.
