Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Service Writer to join our team. As a Service Writer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, coordinating vehicle repairs and maintenance, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide a warm and friendly welcome
- Listen to customers' concerns and accurately document their vehicle issues
- Provide detailed explanations of recommended repairs and maintenance services
- Coordinate with mechanics and technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Schedule appointments for vehicle drop-off and pick-up
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service history, and repairs performed
- Communicate with customers regarding the status of their vehicles and any additional repairs needed
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role as a Service Writer or in auto service management is preferred
- Strong knowledge of auto repair and maintenance procedures, including oil changes, brake repairs, alignments, etc.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information in a clear and understandable manner
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building positive relationships
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Proficient computer skills for maintaining accurate records and generating invoices
