Location: Independence, OH USA/Remote

POSITION SUMMARY

This role within the Client Finance Department will have responsibility for the entire recurring payment process for specifically identified clients. Significant interaction with Operation is required to ensure all data is accurate and up to date. Accuracy and timely processing is critical. Significant knowledge of Service Engine is required to ensure that any needed adjustments required by Client Finance, Cash Posting and Accounting are managed accurately and per guidelines. This role is responsible for the processing of TAX and Tax Equalization (TEQ) payments. This requires significant communication with tax providers, Operations, Accounting, Accounts Payable, DGAM’s, other internal stakeholders, and clients when appropriate. Responsible for processing cost estimates as directed by each client following specific procedures. In addition, this role is responsible for more complex processing, acts and a Subject Matter Expert, and acts as a back-up to the lead when needed. This role will work on special projects. The Sr. Client Finance Analyst is a resource to our internal team members including training and mentoring new hires. They are also a resource to the management team, clients and the rest of the department to answer tax and expense questions.

Responsible for recurring payment process which includes leases and allowances with the following responsibilities, including more complex clients.

•Make sure recurring payment is authorized by the client.

•Set up the recurring payments in Service Engine to ensure timely payments.

•Confirm recurring payments are triggered properly each month/period following audit procedures

•Maintain an updated Recurring Rent spreadsheet

•Communicate with OPS to ensure information is up to date for automated triggers.

•Send confirmation report of recurring rent payments that were requested for Ops to review.

•Review Wire out Report to ensure payments initiated were sent out correctly.

•Complete uploads when needed to expedite payment process.

Responsible to work with our tax service providers to process all Tax and Tax Equalization (TEQ) Payments within required time constraints. Manage any potential delays if deadlines cannot be met due to large volumes and solicit assistance timely. Document processes and procedures for consistency and work with the management team to finalize department guidelines. Work on more complex payments, organize group payments, submit payments via external portals and uploads.

 Facilitate the processing of cost estimates reports from external on-line portals to ensure timely and accurate processing

•Act as SME for the team with regards to process knowledge and quality

•Perform regular quality checks on items processed by the team.

•Support Team Lead on process improvements by identification of opportunities and raising them to Team Lead.

•Facilitate and/or support Team Lead in internal calls (e.g. implementation calls for newly acquired clients, transition calls, improvement calls).

• Assist in training and special projects as needed. This would include mentoring for on-the-job training and procedure documentation

•Act as back-up for the lead to ensure processing is timely, follow-ups are completed to follow guidelines, and other tasks as needed.

•Ability to communicate effectively to respond to or escalate issues to the team and upper management .

QUALIFICATIONS AND PREFERRED SKILLS

•Minimum 2 years’ experience in Client Finance Analyst role

•Focus on details and good analytical skills

•Strong written and verbal communication skills

•Strong organization skills

•Composure, can-do attitude and ability to deal with difficult situations

•Ability to create a good working environment

•Experience in training and ability to provide feedback

•Ability to work successfully in a team and deadline driven environment

•Financial/Accounting knowledge preferred

•Advanced level of Excel skills required

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

•Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience
