Tiny Town Childcare & Learning Center is Hiring a Lead Infant Teacher Near Washington, OH

Tiny Town Childcare and Learning Center -Washington Courthouse- is looking for qualified candidates for our Infant Classroom.

The schedules available for this position are Lead Infant Teacher Monday through Friday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm, or Monday through Thursday 8:00 am-5:00 pm, and Lead Infant Teacher Monday- Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

The lead teachers will be responsible for creating and implementing activity plans that are engaging and developmentally appropriate. Our infants love to be kept busy, sing and dance, and do messy projects!

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:

  • At Least 18 Years of Age
  • Minimum - High School Diploma / G.E.D.
  • Obtain a Medical Statement From a Physician
  • Complete and Pass a Background Check
  • Clean and Valid Driver's License - (You will be driving our bus to pick up children from school) and Complete a Driver's Training Course
  • Already Have or Quickly Obtain - CPR / First Aid Training, Communicable Disease Prevention Training, Child Abuse and Neglect Training
  • Have Patience for Children
  • Have a Passion for Working with Children
  • Dependable / Flexible
  • On Time and able to work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

HELPFUL BUT NOT REQUIRED:

  • Previous experience working in an ODJFS licensed child care center
  • Knowledge of the ODJFS Rules and Regulations
  • Knowledge of the Step Up To Quality program
  • Knowledge of the CACFP (Food Program)
