Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher/ Floater to join our team. As a Infant teacher you play a crucial role in a little ones development.
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment for children
- Provide care and supervision for infant- schoolage children
- Promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and educational activities
- Maintain open communication with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive learning experience
- Manage classroom behavior and enforce rules and routines
- Ensure the health and safety of all children in the classroom
- Prepare materials and resources for daily lessons
Experience:
- Previous experience in caregiving, preschool teaching, infant care, nannying, or related roles is preferred
- Experience working with students in an educational setting is highly desirable
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques and strategies
- Knowledge of first aid procedures for children is a plus
- Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans that educate and entertain young learners/ Infants
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field is preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and adapt to changing situations
