Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
- Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays)
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide personalized oral health care instructions
- Conduct patient assessments, including medical history review and periodontal charting
- Assist the dentist during procedures as needed
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using dental software (e.g., Dentrix)
- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive dental care
Requirements:
- Valid dental hygienist license in [state]
