POSITION SUMMARY:

The Financial Analyst is a key role that will be responsible for working closely with operational business leaders in all aspects of financial planning, analysis and projection for all business units. The Financial Analyst will assist the accounting department in ensuring the accuracy, timeliness and consistency of financial reporting and accounting systems.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Analysis of monthly forecast cycles, annual Operating Plan and Strategic Plan, including P&L, Balance Sheet and cash flow forecasting; Working Capital, and Non-Financial accounts.
  • Analyzes industry trends and makes recommendations based on those trends.
  • Responsible for reporting, budget tracking, business plan, expense related analysis for pricing and strategic cost savings
  • Aptitude for preparing analytical and financial reports and presentations.
  • Develops automated reporting and forecasting tools for more efficient use of data.
  • Ability to manage expectations, processes, and multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to effectively communicate across all levels and units.
  • Ability to perform ad-hoc reporting as needed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Must be able to maintain a scheduled availability flexible to the business demands.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS:

  • Minimum 3 years related experience preferably a combination of corporate accounting with public accounting or equivalent work experience in the hospitality/food and beverage industry.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills with a focus on the accuracy of work
  • Hospitality/Food and Beverage to include retail and multi-venues experience preferred.
  • Accounting system experience highly desired
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred
  • Highly proficient with MS Office, MS Project, Outlook applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ability to learn new systems.
  • Collaborative work style and ability to work effectively across departments.
  • Exhibits excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Possess strong interpersonal, collaboration skills; must support and promote a culture of inclusiveness, respect, and positive employee experience.
  • Experience in the areas of income audit, daily sales, cash management, and accounts payable desired.
  • Experience or ability to automate or drive process efficiency desired.
  • Must be passionate, entrepreneurial, and dedicated to success.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently safe and successfully with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time.
  • Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly frequent movements from place to place within the property. Bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms, and hands above shoulder height frequently, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment.

The base pay range for this position is $85,000 -$100,000 per annum. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, etc.
