Job Summary:
As a Procurement Analyst at American Beverage Crafts, you will play a crucial role in supporting our operational efficiency and strategic decision-making processes. Your primary focus will be on supply and demand analysis, inventory management, supplier relations, and new product innovation within the context of our craft beverage business. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Salary Range: USD $45,000.00 - $55,000.00
Responsibilities:
  • Supply and Demand Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of market trends, customer preferences, and production capabilities to forecast demand accurately. Utilize data-driven insights to optimize production schedules, inventory levels and any communicate gaps in supply.
  • Inventory Management: Implement effective inventory control measures to minimize stockouts and excess inventory. Develop strategies for efficient storage, rotation, and disposal of materials.
  • Supplier Relations: Foster strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms to ensure reliable and cost-effective sourcing of raw materials. Monitor supplier performance and address any issues proactively.
  • ERP Tools and Excel: Proficiently utilize Material Requirements Planning (MRP) software and Excel to manage procurement, production, and inventory data. Generate reports and dashboards to track key performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • AP Processing Invoices: Oversee the Accounts Payable (AP) process related to supplier invoices. Verify accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely payment to vendors.
  • Defective Materials and DMR Process: Implement and manage the Discrepant Material Report (DMR) process to identify and address quality issues promptly. Collaborate with quality assurance teams to minimize product defects and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • New Product Innovation: Collaborate with innovation and marketing teams to oversee the development and processing of materials against target timelines. Conduct market research, feasibility studies, and financial analysis to support decision-making.
  • Seasonal Offerings Transition: Manage transitions of seasonal offerings by coordinating with production, marketing, and sales teams. Develop promotional strategies to maximize sales and minimize excess inventory at the end of each season.
  • Data-Driven Influence: Present findings and recommendations to senior management and leadership using compelling data-driven insights. Act as a trusted advisor, providing strategic guidance based on thorough analysis and industry expertise.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, inventory control, and business analysis within the food and beverage industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, MRP software, and ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence decision-making at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
