Governance and Experience is a global team responsible for ensuring our marketplace is safe and trustworthy for not only users, but also sellers and creators. We value user satisfaction and work on policies, rules and systems to ensure quality.
What You'll Do

• Manage onboarding governance strategic plans with specific focus on fraud / malbehavior detection, risk control and reduction.
• Investigate large scale escalated issues, and deep dive to identify the root cause of the problem. Ability to work under emergent situations to identify a problem, develop a solution, and formulate an opinion on behalf of the team in executing through the solution.
• Responsible for regulatory research, competitive analysis, vendor management, and optimizing registration rules and product features, working closely with Legal, Fraud, Product and other GNE counterparts.
• Partner also closely with GNE Product in overseeing the technical back end of the registration platform approval, rejection and risk detection rules. This includes testing and iterating onboarding models, and setting up new backend logics to enhance TTS platform safety working with Engineering teams.
• Conduct post mortem analysis to understand any gaps in risk / compliance coverage and help mitigate risk before they occur.
• Monitor onboarding metrics focusing on enhancing seller rejection precisions and coverage.
• Support communications, enforcement actions, and data reporting for seller onboarding policies and appeal programs
• Work autonomously in a fast paced, highly demanding and ambiguous environment.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or above. With at least 5 years experience in e-commerce onboarding governance strategies or program management role and more than 5 years of hands-on experience in related fields: Trust and Safety, risk, incident management, anti-fraud.
• Capacity to draw actionable insights from datasets; Experience with analytical tools such as Excel, Looker, Tableu, or Aeolus to drive analytics and reporting. Knowledge of SQL, Python, or equivalent is a plus
• Excellent program management and communication skills with the ability to plan for, and manage complex projects, as well as influence multiple cross-functional teams to achieve goals

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiar with E-commerce compliance requirements, risk management, and ecosystem management, with business sensitivity and risk awareness
• Strong management capabilities and getting things done themselves in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment. Demonstrated ability to navigate successfully in ambiguity, with multiple priorities in a changing environment

Job Information
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $108089 - $196544 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
